New Drama Unveiled!
Saba Qamar and Imran Abbas will be seen sharing the screen together for the first in Tumharay Husn Kay Naam, coming on Green Entertainment. Taking to Instagram, the lead pair both revealed the first official poster of the show. The series was shot in both Karachi and Lahore and will finally be seen on the TV screens. The story depicts the love of Salma and Sikandar and is a poetic romantic series. Green Entertainment is an upcoming Pakistani channel, to be launched on Eid Ul Fitr.
Making History
Nadia Kahf made history when she took oath in New Jersey this week as the first judge to do so while wearing a hijab. And she took oath by pressing her hand on a copy of the Holy Quran she inherited from her grandmother. “I’m overwhelmed and very happy and very honored as well,” Judge Kahf, 50, said in an interview. “I’m happy the bench is going to reflect (all) residents of New Jersey.” Nadia Kahf immigrated to the United States from Syria when she was 2-year-old. She is the president of the Islamic Centre of Passaic County, one of the state’s largest mosques. Way to go Nadia!
