5 Rice Masks for Clear Skin

From past few years traditional and homemade skin-lightening remedies have been making waves and raising the bar in the beauty community. Unlike commercial products, homemade remedies are not loaded with chemicals and other harmful ingredients. One such effective remedy is rice flour which can help a person in getting a fair and glowing skin.

  1. Rice flour and turmeric face pack:

Ingredients:

  • 3 teaspoons of rice flour
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Method:

In a bowl, add 3 teaspoons of rice flour and a pinch of turmeric. Combine both the ingredients and then add 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice to it. Mix it well and then apply the same all over the face and neck. Then rinse it off with normal water after 15 minutes. Apply a light moisturizer after washing the face, as lemon juice can cause dryness.

Repeat the process once a week. The ingredients present in face pack can help fade away the dark spots and make the skin clear and bright.

 

  1. Rice flour and yoghurt face pack:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons of yoghurt

Method:

In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon rice flour and 2 teaspoons of yoghurt. Make a smooth paste of it and then apply it all over the area of face and neck. Then let it sit for 20 minutes and then wash the face with cool water. Apply this face pack once a week in order to get glowing skin.

This face pack removes the impurities and dead skin cells from the skin. It deep cleans the skin from the surface and provides acne-free face.

  1. Rice flour and honey face pack:

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • 2-3 drops of rose water

Method:

In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of rice flour, 1 teaspoon honey and 2-3 drops of rose water together. Then combine all the ingredients to form a smooth paste. Then gently apply the paste all over the face and neck. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Apply this pack once in a 2-3 week to get the clean and pure skin.

  1. Rice flour and cucumber juice face pack:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon of cucumber juice

Method:

In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of rice flour. Squeeze out some juice from fresh cucumber and then add 1 teaspoon cucumber juice to the bowl. Combine both the ingredients and prepare a smooth paste. Then apply it all over the face and neck. Let it absorb in the skin for 15 minutes and then wash it off with normal water.

Apply this mask once a week to get effective results. Skin-whitening properties present in both the ingredients will help to remove the sun-tan and will provide glowing skin.

  1. Rice flour and aloe vera gel face pack:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons of fresh aloe vera gel

Method:

In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of rice flour. Then extract gel from the fresh aloe vera plant and then add 2 teaspoons of that gel to the bowl. Then mix both the ingredients well together to form a thick paste. Then apply the paste on the area of face and neck. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with water.

Apply this pack once a week. This face pack works best when it comes to making the skin tone even and cleaning the impurities from the skin
