You’ve been working hard and it shows on your tired, frizzy, and stressed hair, Eid is just around the corner and you don’t want to spend thousands on salon treatments, no worries we got you covered. Thankfully, we’ve been there and know just what you can do from the comfort of your home to make those tresses your crowning glory again.

Here is an easy five step hair care to get gorgeous hair on Eid.

Step 1: Start with an oil massage. Nothing spells relaxation like warm oil soothingly poured on your scalp. Yes self-massage sounds like a task at first, but just giving yourself 5-7 minutes of a massage makes a huge difference. The trick is to choose oil that is natural and chemical free. Oils like coconut oil with the goodness of Bringhraj or amla work with long term benefits like reducing hair fall and antioxidant properties that help in quick repair. Apart from this, oiling helps with the obvious benefits like circulation, moisturizing, and relaxation. Use the organic Oils for best results. It comes with a special selfie comb that helps deposit the oil directly on your scalp, reducing wasting and increasing efficiency during the massage.

Step 2: Rinse your towel in hot water and wrap it around your hair. This helps the oil penetrate the roots and hair follicles. It helps fight damage and dryness too. You can leave it for a few minutes or until the towel is not hot anymore.

Step 3: Apply a DIY fruit mask with 2 teaspoons of natural honey for a shot of deep conditioning. Bananas, papaya and avocados work for very dry hair while strawberries, kiwis and aloe vera work for oily hair. Now watch your favorite show on Netflix and wait for 20 minutes.

Step 4: Wash your hair with a sulphate-free, paraben-free shampoo. This is the most important thing to check on the ingredient list of your shampoo because sulphates are harsh washing detergent like ingredients that actually make your hair lose natural oils and with regular use cause dryness, fizziness and other hair problems. To preserve your hair health and overall wellness, it is best you use products that are as close to nature as possible. The Shea Butter range of natural shampoos is your best bet, as they are replete with nature’s goodness. They will leave your hair healthier, without stripping it of its natural oils.
Step 5: Whip up a leave in spray conditioner to finish off. Adding conditioner at this point will weigh your hair down so all you need is a spray bottle and use 1 cup water, 1 tea spoon coconut oil, ½ a cup coconut milk and ½ a cup of aloe vera gel. Shake it all up and spray through your hair, no need to rinse. You can store this at room temperature for two weeks, but remember to shake vigorously before each use.
Grab your favorite hair products,  settle down to binge-watch your favorite show, and get gorgeous hair at the same time. It’s possible.
