Having a headache every once a while is something a person can endure and tolerate. But what if you notice that is something which is taking on for longer and seems to be following a pattern. That can mean you are probably suffering from a migraine. And that is something which you need to identify sooner. Migraines are actually more than “just” headaches. The episodes can come with other severe symptoms, including nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. You may start experiencing signs such as mood changes, difficulty sleeping, and trouble concentrating days before the headache begins.
There are some definite warning signs you should be aware of. In this article, I want to share some of the leading warning signs which can help you to prepare for one. And quite possibly prevent one as well.

Aura
Almost all people with migraine auras experience visual symptoms such as flickering lights, zigzag lines, or blind spots. A little over a third of people with auras can have hearing disturbances, such as tinnitus (ringing in your ears), music, or noises. About 10% of people experience language changes, such as trouble understanding or finding words. In rare cases, people experience motor auras with weakness on one side of the face or body.

Depression or Excitement
Mood changes can be a sign of migraines. They begin in the prodrome phase—the first phase of a migraine attack that can start several hours or days before the aura or headache phases. You may feel depressed, irritable, or hyperactive. You may experience other mood changes, too—people’s prodrome symptoms vary widely,
Restless Nights
It is a definite one. You may be suffering from major sleep concerns. It will become hard for you to have a major and deep sleep.
Waking up tired or having trouble falling asleep is common in people with migraines. When migraines strike, it’s tough to get a good night’s sleep.
Food Cravings
The thing is you may be getting some major food cravings when you are suffering from a migraine attack. Before a migraine attack occurs, some people crave certain foods. But chocolate may be a migraine trigger, along with certain cheeses.Food cravings may also be signs of the prodrome phase.
Eye & Neck Pain
The thing is migraine pain leads to you having major pain that can generate either in your eye or neck. People who may be going through major eye strain as well. Whereas when it comes to the neck, it can get really stiff. And this suggests it’s the early stage of migraine. In some cases you may also have to go through throbbing pain that is generated at the back of the neck.
Yawning Too Much
Yawning too much is another tip-off that a migraine is about to strike. Unlike regular “I’m tired” yawning, it may be excessive and uncontrollable and occur every few minutes. People who yawn are likely to experience auras, nausea as well as vomiting.
Trouble Speaking
If you are experiencing speech problems for the first time, contact a healthcare provider to make sure the problems are not related to a more serious issue, such as a stroke.Speech difficulties can be another sign that a migraine is on its way.
