Chaat masala


  • Mint leaves half Cup
  • Cumin seeds 2 tbs
  • Carom seeds half tsp
  • Caraway seeds 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tbs
  • Dried pomegranate seeds 1 tbs
  • Dried ginger 1 small piece
  • Black peppercorns 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg 3 small pieces
  • Citric acid 1 tsp
  • Dried mango powder half tbs
  • Black salt 2 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 & half tbs


  • In frying pan, add mint leaves, roast until crispy and take out in a bowl and crush with your hands.
  • In frying pan, add cumin seeds, carom seeds, caraway seeds, coriander seeds, roast until aromatic and changes color & take out in a bowl.
  • In frying pan, add dried pomegranate seeds, dried ginger, black peppercorns, nutmeg, dry roast for 2 minutes & take out in a bowl.
  • In spice mixer, add roasted spices and blend to make a fine powder.
  • Add citric acid, dried mango powder, black salt, salt, red chili powder and blend again.
  • Chaat masala is ready!
