Ingredients:
- Mint leaves half Cup
- Cumin seeds 2 tbs
- Carom seeds half tsp
- Caraway seeds 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tbs
- Dried pomegranate seeds 1 tbs
- Dried ginger 1 small piece
- Black peppercorns 1 tsp
- Nutmeg 3 small pieces
- Citric acid 1 tsp
- Dried mango powder half tbs
- Black salt 2 tsp
- Salt 2 tsp
- Red chili powder 2 & half tbs
Method
- In frying pan, add mint leaves, roast until crispy and take out in a bowl and crush with your hands.
- In frying pan, add cumin seeds, carom seeds, caraway seeds, coriander seeds, roast until aromatic and changes color & take out in a bowl.
- In frying pan, add dried pomegranate seeds, dried ginger, black peppercorns, nutmeg, dry roast for 2 minutes & take out in a bowl.
- In spice mixer, add roasted spices and blend to make a fine powder.
- Add citric acid, dried mango powder, black salt, salt, red chili powder and blend again.
- Chaat masala is ready!
