- What’s your morning routine?
I am a morning person and when I have to go for a shoot I wake up at 8 am and hit the gym right after breakfast. Otherwise I’m just relaxed and wake up around 10 or 11 am and go to gym in the early evening.
- What is your usual workout routine like?
To gain maximum results one must be honest and dedicated in exercise and eating healthy. My workout routine is none like other I do extensive cardio, HIIT, Zumba, Boxing, strength training and other exercises. The level of these exercises are medium to high depends on what we did the previous day. I would love to go to the jog in the evening so sometimes I do that, but only when I’m working out in the morning.
- How important is breakfast for you? What do you have in it?
Breakfast is very important! I pity those who skip it for losing weight, starving actually stores a lot of sugar in your body resulting in weight gain, it’s being suggested to take carbs in the morning instead of evening because it will easily burn during the day. I have unsalted butter spread on a sugar free crax. With half cup of tea without sugar and one boiled egg without yolk. Or sometimes granola with plain yogurt
- What does being fit mean to you?
For me being fit is a state of mind, it’s not only what you are eating, but what you are thinking and saying makes you healthy and fit. A lot of people have different definitions of being fit. Ironically everyone wants to lose weight and go skinny to look good which weakens them from inside.
- What is your take on junk food?
I don’t eat junk food for obvious reasons: to not gain weight; it minimise the level of calcium in the body; and it has a lot of bad carbs which will result in sugar in the body. Once a while you can eat it as a cheat meal but shouldn’t make it a habit.
- Do you follow any particular diet? Such as keto, paleo, vegetarian?
Honestly I only eat proteins, plant based protein and also animal based protein, but I avoid taking a lot of meat. I believe in eating healthy I eat beef, sea food, loads of greens, granola, veggie soup, fruits, water, all these food I take in portions which means I have filled my stomach with a lot of food, without going hungry or eating sugar and sodium filled food.
