Why did you decide to become a fitness trainer?
I wanted to help people of all age groups to stay fit and away from chronic diseases
Are you CPR-certified? What other certifications do you hold?
I am not CPR certified and currently I am doing an accredited fitness certification
How do you keep your fitness training knowledge up to date?
I read blogs, follow articles and new methodologies in all fitness journals
Do you have fitness goals for yourself? If so, what are they?
I am always on routine to be fitter then the day before. To set an example for my clients
What group classes have you taught? In your group classes, can you explain how you accommodate varying skill and fitness levels?
I have conducted various boot camps and have urged my members to concentrate on full ROM and teaching them new techniques to achieve it
What diet and nutrition education have you received?
I don’t have a a Nutrition cert. I only advice based on my knowledge
What is your schedule for classes, and can you walk me through a class from start to finish?
My schedule vary and yes I can walk you through when I have a low strength class
How important is nutrition to you in creating a client’s regimen?
Nutrition I believe is 70% while training in 30% for optimum results..
What evaluations do you conduct with a new client eager to begin a fitness regimen?
Their posture, past injuries and lifestyle.
Do you recommend dietary supplements to enhance your clients’ performance? Which ones?
Yes the essential ones I definitely do.
Can you describe your time management approach for assisting individual clients versus group workout classes?
Individual clients are my first priority as they join you for a reason ..group classes are usually early morning or late night.
If a client complains about a previous injury, how do you handle that when constructing a fitness regimen?
I keep motivating them with full energy and different workouts
Can you tell us three essential exercises you suggest for all clients, and why?
The air squats, the push ups and the sit ups. One targets your legs one targets your upper body and the other is core related.
