Peach is a widely adored delicious juicy fruit. It is origins from China and now popular in all over the world. The health benefits of peaches are merely known to its regular eater. Peaches are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidant and other chemical contents. Here are some benefits of Peach.

Protects Eye Vision
Regular consumption of peaches can improve your vision health by increasing blood circulation throughout your body.

Peaches area great source of vitamins A and C, which are highly essential for skin health. Vitamin A provides moisture to the skin, which improves the skin’s texture making it soft and supple. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from free radical damage.

Maintains Body Weight
Peaches are fat-free and contain an average of only 68 calories. The high amount of sugar in peaches is natural and therefore does not have an adverse effect on health.

Prevents Cancer
Peaches are rich with antioxidants that help prevent cancerous cell growth. Peaches are known particularly for effectively protecting the body against lung, colon and oral cancers. Also, the phenolic acids, known as chlorogenic and neochlorogenic acid, in peaches appear to stop breast cancer cell lines from growing without damaging normal cells.

Controls High Cholesterol
Eating peaches on regular basis may help control high cholesterol and problems that lead to diabetes and heart disease.

Peach Frozen Yogurt”
Makes about 3 cups.
Ingredients:
1 Kg ripe peaches.
1/2 cup water.
3/4 cup sugar.
1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt.

A few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Method:
Peel the peaches, slice them in half and remove the pits. Cut peaches into chunks and cook them in water in a medium nonreactive saucepan over medium heat, covered, stirring occasionally, until soft and cooked through, about ten minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and chill in the refrigerator. When peaches are cool, puree them in a food processor or blender with the yogurt until almost smooth but slightly chunky. Mix in a few drops of lemon juice. Freeze the mixture in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Server with your choice of wafers, wiped cream and fresh peaches.
