Junaid Khan is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and also an actor. He was a lead singer in the band Call. Over the past few years he has done various projects for the TV audience and has created his demand in the industry. He is talented, handsome and effortlessly charming. Briefly tell us about yourself and a bit of your background?
I am Junaid Khan was born in Multan. Raised in Lahore. I am an Engineer with MBA degree in marketing by education and a Musician/actor by profession. I joined my band CALL around 2002 during my engineering school days. And started acting in 2010.
What’s your daily routine like?
During work days: I wake up early around 9, workout for max half hour, followed by a healthy breakfast then I am off to work, and after work I come back home, spend time with family and then sleep

What’s you favorite genre when it comes to acting?
Action.
What’s more close to your heart singing or acting?
Singing any day.
What type of role would excite you the most and you would take it in a blink of an eye?
Action.
If you had to pick three things from a grocery store, what would you take?
Oats, eggs & coffee
What do you enjoy the most about acting?
Pretending to be someone else.
Any funny incident from the sets that still makes you laugh?
I can’t think of any particular moment. Any day becomes fun if you are around people who carry loads of positive energy.
Do you get along with your co-stars easily, with whom you think you are most comfortable when acting?
I’ve been blessed to have worked with amazing co stars. Though exceptions are always there but in my case I’ve had a wonderful time on sets. It’s always action reaction when it comes to social interactions. If you go with a very positive energy you will get the same treatment in return.
Any plans about acting in a movie anytime soon?
I have been offered scripts but I don’t want to make the leap till I am convinced with the script.
What do you think was the turning point in your career?
“Sab Bhula Kay” was the turning point cause it placed me on the map as a lyricist and songwriter. I put my heart out in the song and I am glad the audience felt it and related to it.
Is there any character played by you so far which you think is close to your personality?
I have yet to play a musician/artist in a project. I’ll answer this question then.
If you were stuck on airport where your flight was late what would you do to kill time?
Find a suitable corner where I can listen to some music, read and do some burpees.
What’s the best advice given to you by someone?
To keep working hard and not worry about the result as you’ll achieve your goals when and if you are meant to get them.
What was the last lie that you told?
I told myself that I’ll fix my eating habits.
Any project you are currently working on?
A serial titled ‘ghari do ghari’ for A Plus network. Recording my band ‘CALL’s next track and my solo album.
What was the first thought that got in your head when you woke up?
That I need to get ready for work asap.
What’s your idea of a good human being?
A person who is tolerant, humble, wise
Is there any song that has been stuck in your mind for a long time now?
Yeah, you’ll get to hear them when my solo album is out.
What’s your motto of life?
To be able to make an impression, bring positive change, and contribute in making the world a better place.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Can’t say now, I have loads to achieve in life. Who knows what I’ll be able to achieve within the next 5 years.
