After ruling the screens in 2021 with one hit after the other, the talented Wahaj Ali is starring in the upcoming Geo Entertainment drama ‘Jo Bichar Gaye’ alongside Maya Ali. Directed by the ace director Haissam Hussain and penned down by Ali Moeen, ‘Jo Bichar Gaye’ is a drama that follows the story of the partition of East and West Pakistan. Wahaj Ali is playing a very intense and different character in the drama. The cast also includes the veteran actress Nadia Jamil among several talented artists. “As an actor I believe it is very important to be part of a project that narrates the truth,” commented Wahaj Ali. “I feel honored to be part of such a project and I hope the audience will enjoy watching it as much we enjoyed filming it. ”Known for his knack of choosing diverse roles, Wahaj Ali is one of the most distinguished actors in the Pakistan entertainment industry. Renowned singer/composer Zeb Bangash, popular for her melodious voice and distinctive style, recently announced the release of her new song ‘Tum Saath Ho’. The song titled ‘Tum Saath Ho,’ a peppy homage to Pakistani Pop Music from the 80’s, is a collaboration with the leading actor and singer of the industry, Haroon Shahid. The release of the teaser on Social media last week has been met with much anticipation from fans of both artists who still remember their last chart-topping collaboration “Sambhal Sambhal” from Shoaib Mansoor’s Film, ‘Verna.’‘Tum Saath Ho’ has been composed by Haroon Shahid, produced by Ahsan Pervaiz Mehdi and the music video is shot by the musician and visual artist Nouman Javaid. First of Its Kind! Heroic Series Making a Mark
SAMAAJ, a non-profit organisation based in Lahore has debuted Super Sohni, a “first of its kind” 2D animated series that presents a new superhero fighting heroically against crimes of sexual abuse of young girls. The 10-episode series is already creating a lot of hype as each episode gets uploaded online every Friday. Bernhard Schlagheck, Germany’s ambassador to Pakistan, wrote on Twitter, “A highly interesting effort that can hopefully empower many children with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to keep safe from abuse.” It is great to see such major campaigns highlighting important issues in such creative ways.
