It is quite impressive to see how a single individual is able to create such a fervor of work with his impeccable style.
Rizwan Ali Jaffri may have made his entrance through the field of modeling but in no time he made his mark in the world of acting with his debut project ‘Pani Jaisa Pyar’. More than just rugged looks, this is one individual to look out for as he continues to impress with his talent which only defines his pursuit to bring forth his best work. Check out our interesting interview with this happening artist :
SD: What led you into the world of modeling?
Rizwan: My long hair and athletic physique at that time got noticed which allowed me to enter the world of showbiz.
SD: While pursuing this field, what were the major setbacks you had to face?
Rizwan: Actually I cannot really pinpoint any major setbacks as such as I had no expectations from the field other than attaining a certain pocket money whilst I was studying.
SD: What was the first fashion campaign you took part in?
Rizwan: I think it was Chen One’s winter campaign.
SD: When did your interest in acting arise?
Rizwan: I have always been an ardent student of storytelling and what better way than to be a part of it ! Acting gives me that satisfaction.
SD: How did you land your first acting role?
Rizwan: Sarmad Khoosat, a mentor to me, convinced me I could do it ! And gave me the break I needed. And I have not looked back since then.
SD: Compared to modeling-how much effort goes into making a mark as an actor?
Rizwan: Modelling is more about how the camera captures you, its generally a flat projection. Acting however requires emoting emotion and expressions that the character requires even timewise generally it’s much more intensive but then equally rewarding.
SD: Was the film industry everything you had hoped it would be or were you left disappointed over certain revelations?
Rizwan: I would have to say till now it’s been a smooth ride. I enjoy the differences that TV and Big Screen recordings entail . It’s absolutely a different ball game.
SD: How would you say the fashion industry of this country has been progressing through the years?
Rizwan: It has grown and become an industry; it is amazing to see how certain local brands can be compared to international ones . Very proud of the trajectory. Hope it continues to move in the right direction.
SD: If there is one perception you wish to change about modeling, what would it be?
Rizwan: That models are not smart. That is an old time cliché which definitely needs to change now.
SD: How do you rate our drama industry and any small screen projects we will be seeing you in?
Rizwan: Super excited about the pipeline for me. I am currently working on two projects and a third is about to start. Besides that I am already working on a movie. So there is definitely a lot happening and I can’t wait to see the audience’s response.
SD: What has 2022 been like- the most satisfying aspect about it?
Rizwan: Strangely enough Covid times had slowed everything down , and that gave me an opportunity to work on myself and my close relationships in life . I am thankful To Allah for keeping my loved ones safe too during those trying times. And yes that phase also allowed me to play cricket. Sports would always remain my first love.
SD: How do you plan to venture into 2023?
Rizwan: Work, work and work. With the focus on continuous Improvement in my craft .
