ndia has landed its Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the moon, becoming only the fourth nation ever to accomplish such a feat.
The mission could cement India’s status as a global superpower in space. Previously, only the United States, China and the former Soviet Union have completed soft landings on the lunar surface.
Chandrayaan-3’s landing site is also closer to the moon’s south pole than any other spacecraft in history has ventured. The south pole region is considered an area of key scientific and strategic interest for spacefaring nations, as scientists believe the region to be home to water ice deposits.
Our space research Centre was founded 8 years prior to India. The difference is that they made their aerospace scientist Dr Azad (a Muslim) as their President of India while we made the life our Founder (Abdul Salam, a Qadiani)a living hell just due to his faith.
But nonetheless our politicians and celebrities were praising India for this historic win. Former information minister Fawad Chaudhary took to twitter to congratulate India for achieving the unexpected.
What a great moment for #ISRO as #Chandrayaan3 lands on the Moon, I can see lots of young scientists celebrating this moment with Mr Somnat Chairman ISRO, only Younger generation with dreams can change the world … good luck
