Probably one of the most popular Hollywood divas ever, Anne Hathaway has certainly made a name for herself in the world of not just acting but also being the fitness queen that she is. Every single actress has their own fitness routine. They are all diet-conscious and picky eaters. They stay away from junk foods and Anne here is no exception. As it turns out, she had discovered a fondness for exercise while she was training for the role of Catwoman for which she did stunt training and took dance classes five days a week. You can consider her a tough girl when it comes to fitness training. She likes to sweat it out and therefore her vigorous intense workout session consists of rigorous exercises and stunt training followed by thorough dance training. She maintains a five days a week work-out where strength and cardio are one of her important criteria.
Anne’s Fitness Routine
The star participates in Braganza’s 321 Training Method, which includes cardio, circuit and core work, and resistance tools. Hathaway performs arm work with the celeb trainer Don Saladino for good posture and back support. Although she makes it look effortless, the regimen included one-hour morning workouts, five days a week. She also enjoys Bikram yoga which allows her to keep fit and feel great in the process too. Working out for movie roles involves an intense workout and staying motivated. Anne’s fitness trainer shed light on some major secrets: Every morning, during a 15 minute foam rolling warm up, the trainer would assess Anne’s sleep, mood and nutrition status. Gauging her “readiness” each day, the two of them would determine the appropriate approach for their session together.“Like so many pros that I work with, we work fitness into their schedule, whether that be an ever-changing shoot schedule or something different,” he said. If Anne had an early call time, for example, Don might adjust the intensity of the workout. In that way, they were able to hone in on what success looks like for the actress (and mother of two!) on a daily basis.Her Instagram videos also prove that Anne loves spending some quality time in the gym. Anne and her husband, Adam Shulman, were snapped smooching after a sweat sesh together, and she has also been frequently photographed training at a gym in West Hollywood where she lifts weights and works out with her trainer. It looks like the gym is this fit actress’s second home! She also likes to go hiking. After working out throughout her pregnancy and getting right back into the gym, it’s no wonder Anne stays in such amazing shape.
Anne’s Diet Regime
Hathaway gains and loses weight based on her roles. To play Catwoman, she followed a strict diet and exercise program. She ate every 2-3 hours for a total of 1,500-1,800 calories per day. She also drank a lot of water, at least 8-10 glasses per day. More recently, she put on weight for a role, but did so in a healthy way. Hathaway followed a vegan/vegetarian diet for years, but she decided that it was not the right diet for her and started eating fish again. She works with nutrition coach Jackie Keller who has her on an anti-inflammatory diet. Hathaway generally eats clean, but she loves her chocolate, and rarely goes a day without it. For her inflammatory diet, Hathaway eats a diet that is rich in vegetables, whole grains and healthy fats like avocados and nuts. A diet that contains a lot of vegetables helps control blood sugar, boost energy and reduce inflammation for faster recovery. And contrary to what people might think, Hathaway loves her desserts! Her trainer thought it was important to let her have something sweet so she didn’t experience cravings. Chocolate is her usual choice, in the form of gluten-free brownies, cookies and cake.
