Arsalan Iqbal (Fashion Designer)
2016 proved to be a great and momentous year for me! My wife Sarrah and I were blessed with our second son Qasim and I believe I improved as a designer and artisan after participating in the International Woolmark Prize’s regional competition. For the upcoming year, 2017 The House of Arsalan Iqbal will draw inspiration from human emotion especially love and magnanimity. Look forward to a plethora of novel and unique weaving and embellishment techniques as well as a nod to revivalist methods. For the past two years the design house has spent countless hours of research in creating in-house fabric and we will continue to fine-tune and focus on this development. 2017 will include a crossover of popular trends we had introduced in 2016. Expect minimalist menswear separates and subtle pastel shades to usher in the new year.
