Everyone wishes to have that flawless skin. Skin that is absolutely smooth and allows you to bring on the beauty element in full throttle. The great thing to know here is that there are several kinds you can make use of. Natural oils, such as coconut oil, shea butter oil, and olive oil, have been used for skin care and hair care for centuries. Generation after generation has touted them for various moisturizing, protective, and antibacterial qualities. And the best thing to know here is that it is completely organic. There is no need for you to create a recipe for it. An absolutely natural mix that allows your skin to breathe completely. With the growth of the modern cosmetic and wellness industries, these deceptively simple substances have often been overlooked, but they’ve had a bit of a resurgence in the public eye over the last decade, as people strive to find additive-free, affordable, and effective products.

Did you know that face oil also plays an essential role in your complete skincare as well. Face oils are one of many skin care solutions out there. They are specially tailored to work with the natural oils of the skin to keep the skin balanced. Our skin naturally makes oils and lipids, which help prevent water loss from our skin and keep it hydrated. Face oils are substances that help complement our natural oils. However, when it comes to the kind of oils you can make use of, let me share the top kinds you should be using.

Coconut Oil is a sweet-smelling, edible oil that is used in everything from skincare to smoothie recipes. Made by pressing fat from coconut meat, this oil has gained considerable popularity in recent years due to its therapeutic properties. Coconut oil can be used as a traditional moisturizer. Because it is full of fatty acids, coconut oil acts as a sort of barrier on the skin, keeping moisture locked in. It’s naturally antibacterial and antifungal, helping to protect skin and hair from the elements (especially helpful during those harsh winter months). Bonus: It smells delicious!

Olive Oil doesn’t typically trigger allergic reactions but for the best results, be sure to opt for the extra-virgin variety. Olive oil contains vitamins A, D, E, and K, and can be used as a potential moisturizer too. With its heavy consistency, it is a great choice for an all-body application. You may even want to try an olive oil cleanser or bar of soap for a clean that won’t dry out your skin.
Almond Oil is made from pressed raw almonds. It is full of health benefits, such as vitamin E, zinc, proteins, and potassium. It has a lighter texture than olive oil and shea butter, which many find appealing to use on the face. However sweet almond oil can result in allergic responses, so avoid using it if you have sensitive skin.
Grapeseed Oil contains vitamin E and essential fatty acids, grapeseed oil is lightweight compared with other natural oils. It also offers antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Grapeseed oil is less commonly used for skin than the other oils but does provide some really effective uses also. So with no possible side effects, you should definitely try.
Argan Oil is extracted from nuts of the Moroccan argan tree. It is a soothing and powerful moisturizer for all skin types. It is packed with vitamin E, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. It’s light enough to use as an everyday, nongreasy moisturizer, but it can also be used to treat those with more severe skin conditions, such as eczema or rosacea. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, argan oil works to improve skin’s elasticity by fending off free radical damage, leaving skin radiant.
