There is no denying the fact that Summers is getting to us. In probably more ways than one. And turning on the AC isn’t going to help all the time for you need to adapt and figure out some simple ways in which you can create a cool environment. So to keep your house cool during the summer months, you can try the following tips:.

Use Fans Strategically: Place fans near windows or in areas with good cross ventilation to promote airflow.

Use Natural Ventilation: Open windows during the cooler evenings and early mornings to let fresh air circulate through your home.

Insulate Your Home: Proper insulation can help keep your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Bring on the Green! Aside from looking amazing, plants also keep the temperature of the earth’s atmosphere down. There are plenty of air-purifying houseplants which improve indoor air quality by removing harmful pollutants.

Create Shade: Plant trees or install awnings outside windows to provide natural shade and block direct sunlight.

Minimize Heat-generating Activities: Avoid using appliances that generate a lot of heat, such as ovens, stoves, and dryers, during the hottest part of the day.

Optimize Your Cooling System: If you have an air conditioner, ensure it is properly maintained and the filters are clean.

Use Energy-efficient Lighting: Incandescent bulbs generate more heat than energy-efficient alternatives like LED bulbs.
Close the curtains or blinds: Keep them shut during the hottest part of the day to block out the sun’s heat and prevent it from warming up your house

Wear Cotton: They are super breathable and help cool your body. Choose to wear light and loose clothing made of breathable fabrics like cotton, and fit your bed with cotton sheets.
Heat-reducing Film: A quick and easy fix to keep your home cool is to apply a reflective, heat-reducing window film to regulate the temperature.
