Pakistan’s first female jockey is making history. *Social Diary honours the pride of Pakistan, Alishba Mohsin.
She made history by becoming the first Pakistani female apprentice jockey as no other woman had ever participated in the race.
She participated in the Imtiaz Memorial Cup in Lahore. Alishba rode bay mare Ubbi, trained by Mohammad Kamal in the Imtiaz momorial cup race.
Lahore Race club chairman, Makhdoom Syed Ahmad Mehmood appreciated and supported her participation in the race.
Meanwhile, the stewards, members and guests present in the steward’s room gave her a much needed standing ovation.
