Israel Agrees to Iran Ceasefire After Tehran Strike
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel agrees to an Iran ceasefire after a sweeping military campaign in Tehran. The operation, dubbed Operation Rising Lion, reportedly achieved full air dominance and neutralized key missile and nuclear threats.
The Israeli military struck dozens of high-value government and military targets in Iran. Netanyahu said, “Israel has removed immediate threats and achieved far more than planned.”
This move follows direct talks between Netanyahu and President Donald Trump, who proposed the ceasefire terms.
Families Demand Gaza Conflict Be Included
While the Iran ceasefire is welcomed, families of Israeli hostages held in Gaza are calling for the agreement to expand. The Hostages and Missing Families Forum said the government must use this chance to negotiate their release.
“If Israel can reach a ceasefire with Iran, it can end the war in Gaza and bring our loved ones home,” the group said.
What Happens Next?
Israel says any violation of the ceasefire will bring a strong military response. As talks continue, public pressure is mounting to turn this military win into broader peace.
