At a promotional event for her film Love Guru, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan faced harassment when there were major security lapses at the Indo-Pak Supermarket in London.
Crowds that surpassed what the venue could handle turned the film promotion event into chaos when Humayun Saeed was there. Many witnesses said that the crowd was out of control and that Mahira suffered from harassment by people in the audience. The situation got worse after the actress said she was groped by a group of young men as she stepped into the store and later as she was heading toward the rooftop to greet Saeed’s fans.

A source familiar with the situation informed the press that out of all the security personnel, one person on Mahira’s team was accused of misconduct. A source said the actress felt threatened when one of the guards turned on her as soon as she went into the store, making her nervous and reluctant to finish her appearances.
Indian flags at the venue upset many, as it reminded Indian and Pakistani communities of the sensitive history between the two countries. Moving the bill reportedly made everyone more anxious and uneasy.
