A legal notice was sent to Maryam Balwani on behalf of a Karachi resident, Bilawal Hussain Baloch. Senior lawyer Shahryar Dilshad of Haider Law Associates issued the notice.
The legal document claims the post hurt religious sentiments. It states the comments came while the Muslim community was mourning Khamenei’s death . The notice warns of violations of the Pakistan Penal Code and the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) .
The complainant demands an unconditional public apology within 14 days . They also require the immediate removal of the disputed content from all platforms . Failure to comply could lead to criminal and civil court proceedings .
Bonanza Satrangi Issues a Denial
The clothing brand quickly responded to the allegations. Bonanza Satrangi issued an official statement on March 3, 2026. The company firmly denied any involvement by its CEO .
They claimed the account responsible was an impersonator. The statement clarified that this individual had no connection to the organisation. The company reported the matter to authorities for investigation. They urged the public to rely only on verified channels .
