On Tuesday, May 27, Lionel Richie was at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles to host a special event organized with TikTok. Guests enjoyed a live act and learned what’s coming up for the Grammy-winning singer.
Cyrus, along with her mother Tish Cyrus, sister Brandi Cyrus, and actress Anya Taylor-Joy, gave fans a special party to listen to Something Beautiful. There was a big cheer when she sang her greatest hits, like “The Climb,” followed by “End of the World,” “More to Lose,” “Easy Lover,” and “Flowers.”
Even though we haven’t heard the full album yet, the Flowers singer said it’s only a taste of the music we will ultimately experience. Cyrus said in Billboard that the record is just a taste of things to come and that her next album will experiment, hoping her fans will join in the fun.
Her band drummer and boyfriend, Maxx Morando, as well as guitarist Jonathan Rado and pianist Michael Pollack, joined her at the concert to help with Something Beautiful, which Cyrus said was especially personal for her. The album represents everything going on in her life right now, she explained.
