New School Timings in Sindh Effective August 1, 2025
Schools across Sindh will reopen on August 1, 2025, with a new official schedule. The Sindh School Education & Literacy Department has announced fresh timings for all public and private institutions. This change affects primary, secondary, higher secondary schools, and colleges that run on single or double shifts.
Single-Shift School Timings
Single-shift schools, including primary and secondary levels, will now start at 8:00 AM and end at 1:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Fridays, school will close early at 12:00 PM.
Double-Shift School Timings
Double-shift schools will follow a two-part schedule. The first shift begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Fridays, it will finish earlier at 12:00 PM. The second shift starts at 1:00 PM and runs until 5:00 PM, including Fridays.
