Babar Azam, Younis Khan, and Shahid Afridi to Play for a Cause
Pakistan’s biggest cricket names — Babar Azam, Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, and Kamran Akmal — will take part in a special charity match on Saturday, August 30, at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar.
The match is being held to raise funds for flood victims. With the slogan “Khel Se Khidmat” — meaning “service through sports” — the event brings together legends and current stars in one thrilling contest. Peshawar Zalmi will face off against Legends Eleven.
Match Schedule and Venue Details
This much-awaited match will begin at 1 PM local time. As part of the Pakistan match schedule, it will combine excitement and charity. More than 17,000 fans are expected to attend and show their support.
Although the stadium took eight years to complete, it is now fully operational. It offers modern player facilities, upgraded seating, and a newly constructed VVIP section.
Ticket Prices and Donations
Ticket prices are set for all budgets. Regular seats cost Rs 1,000, VIP tickets are Rs 5,000, and VVIP seats are Rs 50,000. To lead by example, Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and other cabinet members have already purchased VVIP tickets.
Every rupee from ticket sales will go toward helping Pakistan’s flood-affected families. Therefore, this is more than just a match — it’s a moment to give back.
