nimal rights refer to the belief that animals have inherent rights and should be treated with respect, compassion, and fairness. It advocates for the protection of animals from cruelty, exploitation, and unnecessary suffering. Animal rights activists work towards ending practices such as animal testing, factory farming, and using animals for entertainment purposes. They argue that animals have the right to live free from harm and should not be treated as mere commodities. Animal rights also encompass the idea of granting legal protections to animals and recognizing their intrinsic value.
Pakistan finally came to realize that these animals have rights of their own. All hail to the rescue organization who have been working tirelessly to get some policy drafted for decades.
We are delighted to announce the biggest initiative for animals in Pakistan. Something that has never been done in history. After decades of pleading, helplessness and adversity, the prayers of the voiceless citizens of Pakistan were finally answered. Yes Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has established a first of its kind center “Protection for Bezuban” dedicated for animal protection, welfare and justice “P.A.R.C” (Police Animal Rescue Center) to solve all kinds of cases of animal abuse Established. Centre will legally handle cruelty cases and file FIR against criminals by involving relevant departments, it will also provide first aid to injured or sick animals, various other departments under the umbrella of Punjab Police Will help the centre. So all types of animals and cases will be covered including pet shops,butcher shops,wild animal abuse,animals killed in accidents and oppressed will also be protected.
JFK Animal Rescue & Shelter has worked in collaboration with Punjab Police in setting up the mechanism. JFK Animal rescue & Shelter will run the operations of the center in collaboration with Punjab police. Many internship opportunities at the center, JFK’s Developed volunteer programs are being offered and certificates will be issued by Punjab Police. This center is a hub for all animal lovers! It also has a helpline, a rescue service, a mini-clinic and software to register and update all cases of animal cruelty. The laws existed before, but none of them were enforced, and here’s the center Will play his key role! Ensuring penalties and protecting animals.
