The new trailer of “Rawalpindi Express” provides a sneak peek into the life of the cricketing legend, Shoaib Akhtar. The preview delves into poignant scenes portraying challenges such as adversity, struggles, and health issues. These trials and tribulations ultimately shaped Shoaib Akhtar into one of Pakistan’s most iconic cricket players. Gohar Rasheed takes on the formidable role of portraying Shoaib Akhtar in the film, capturing his imposing presence.
The biographical movie, scripted by Qaiser Nawaz and directed by Muhammad Faraq Qaiser, was filmed across 47 diverse locations during a span of 68 days. Accompanied by a suspenseful soundtrack, the teaser hints at the possibility that the biopic might take creative liberties to heighten the storytelling.
The cast of “Rawalpindi Express” includes notable actors like Faran Tahir, Saleem Mairaj, Raheela Agha, Salman Shahid, Shafqat Cheema, Usman Peerzada, Umer Aalam, Hamza Khawaja, Rabita Ali, Faiza Khan, Omair Rana, Adnan Shah Tipu, Rahim Pardesi, Hammad Siddique, and Baatin Farouqi.
