In South Korea, all healthy men aged 18 to 28 must serve in the military for about 18 to 21 months. This rule applies to everyone, even celebrities. BTS members, including RM and V, followed the law and put their music careers on hold. Although fans were sad to see them go, many respected their choice to fulfill this important national duty. Their enlistment showed responsibility and brought them even more admiration.
RM & V Return — A Global Fan Celebration
On June 10, RM and V completed their service and returned to the public eye. To celebrate, they greeted fans with salutes and smiles. RM even played the saxophone, creating a joyful moment. Fans from around the world gathered at Hybe’s headquarters in Seoul. Many wore purple—the group’s official color—and held signs and photos. Some fans even flew from countries like the UK and Australia just to see them.
