Salman Khan’s much-anticipated Eid 2025 release, Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, has made a notable impact at the box office on its opening day. According to early estimates, the film has earned approximately ₹25–30 crore net in India on its first day, based on noon trends.
Advance booking figures were promising, with around 3.38 lakh tickets sold nationwide, contributing to a gross of ₹10.09 crore. Morning show occupancy was reported at 13.76%, indicating a steady audience turnout.
Despite facing challenges such as an online leak, Sikandar has managed to draw audiences to theaters, reflecting Salman Khan’s enduring appeal. Industry experts are optimistic about the film’s performance, with projections suggesting a potential entry into the ₹500-crore club, contingent on positive word-of-mouth and sustained viewership.
