Sindh Minister Riaz Hussain met with popular YouTubers. He met Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala. The meeting followed a serious incident. Both content creators were assaulted by lawyers. The assault happened outside a Karachi court.
The minister issued a formal apology to the creators. He expressed regret over the attack. In the clip, the minister presents ajrak shawls to the YouTubers. The ajrak is a traditional Sindhi symbol of respect.
A Case Filed Against the Assaulting Lawyers
YouTuber Rajab Butt’s lawyer has filed a case. The case is against more than a dozen advocates. They are facing accuse of assaulting Butt. The attack occurred after his court appearance. He was at an additional district and sessions court in Karachi.
The FIR was registered at City Court Police Station. It was filed on the complaint of counsel Mian Ashfaq Ali. The case uses several sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.
