asir Hussain, a renowned Pakistani host, actor, and director, who gained recognition for his debut film “Karachi Say Lahore” and the hit film “Lahore Say Aagay,” has now delved into directing. He has received critical acclaim for his dramas “Koel” and “Aik Thi Laila.”
Recently, Yasir Hussain made an appearance on the Talk Talk Show, hosted by Hassan Choudary. During the show, he discussed his Instagram post addressing the fervor among Pakistani actors when meeting the Turkish actor, Burak.
Reflecting on this, Yasir Hussain explained, “People criticized me for that post, accusing me of jealousy. I addressed Pakistani actors’ reactions, not him personally. I felt our actors were more excited than he was. Getting too excited about a Turkish actor, who seemed unassuming, was surprising, considering the event was in his honor.”
Yasir Hussain’s Instagram post read: “I’ve never seen such excessive makeup; the actors wore so much that they looked fairer than the Turkish actor. Pakistani actors wore so much makeup just to meet him, it’s like they were trying to be two shades lighter. The era of fair complexions is long gone.”
This Instagram post was accompanied by pictures from the meet and greet with the Turkish actor.
In summary, Yasir Hussain’s comments shed light on the excessive excitement and appearance-driven actions of Pakistani actors when meeting a Turkish actor, sparking a lively conversation about the priorities and expectations within the industry.
