Actor Zhalay Sarhadi has urged the government to set up city-wise animal welfare response teams across Pakistan. She used social media to raise awareness about the suffering of injured and stray animals on the streets.
A Call for Compassion
Sarhadi shared that every city should have an animal rescue team. Many animals hurt in road accidents die without help. She said animal welfare groups try their best but have limited funds and support.

Government Responsibility
The actor asked which department is responsible for animal care. Some authorities still carry out dog culling, which she strongly opposes. Sarhadi said it is time for a humane and structured system that helps animals instead of harming them.

Join the Movement
She invited her followers to share ideas and join the cause. Her message is simple Pakistan needs compassion, care, and accountability. Together, citizens and authorities can build a safer world for animals.
