Pakistan is focusing on including cryptocurrency by promoting Bitcoin mining and using artificial intelligence (AI) in its economy. Bilal Bin Saqib Meets Trump’s Cryptocurrency Advisor brought this commitment to a high-profile meeting with Robert ‘Bo’ Hines, advisor to Donald Trump on cryptocurrency.
While both were in Las Vegas for the Bitcoin 2025 conference, Saqib spoke about how involved Pakistan is in developing digital solutions. He talked about ways Pakistan and the U.S. can work together on digital assets and shared details of Pakistan’s work to encourage cryptocurrency use and create new regulations.
Saqib announced at the conference that Pakistan plans to introduce the region’s very first Strategic Bitcoin Reserve that is endorsed by the government. The government is using U.S. methods to help position Pakistan as a leading country in the global crypto and blockchain sectors.
Saqib also ensured that the government is dedicated to having a financial regulatory landscape for digital assets that follows FATF guidelines. He said it is key to being open, protecting investors, and building trust for Pakistan’s crypto sector abroad.
This announcement stands out, as it happened after the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) declared that the nation’s first state-led Bitcoin Reserve is here. Saqib added that these reserves will be kept in a national Bitcoin wallet and made into a long-term national asset that is not subject to the market’s fluctuations.
Reserves do not trade or get liquidated because of changes in the marketplace, according to Saqib. They are kept so that the country maintains value and stability over the years.
Vice President JD Vance, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. were among the famous guests at the Bitcoin 2025 event, where Bilal Bin Saqib Meets Trump’s Cryptocurrency Advisor, for easing tensions between India and Pakistan and helping the spread of cryptocurrency.
