n the midst of Karachi and Lahore’s biryani Islamabad is winning with Burning Brownie.
If you have been living under a rock then this might be a good time to know that ‘Burning Brownie’ is making its way to Lahore in the heart of DHA.
There is two things that Islamabad is good at, one keeping the serenity of the city intact and second serving their signature cheesecake at burning brownie.
The place has a vibe of its own. In the middle of F11 you will get to experience the true culinary magic.
It has a wide range of menu from breakfast to salads and sandwiches but of course the sweet dishes took the dime and one couldn’t resist.

The place is owned by Ammar Mumtaz – a young entrepreneur from Islamabad, Pakistan who started his own bakery and café called Burning Brownie. He specializes in making chocolate brownies, cupcakes, and coffee. It’s amazing that he was able to turn his love for chocolate and baking into a successful business.
It’s really impressive how Mumtaz was able to stand out in such a competitive market. He was able to do this by using high-quality imported chocolates, Michelin star restaurant quality presentation and fresh ingredients while keeping his prices low.

This helped him generate enough profits to open his own café in Beverly Centre, Islamabad. I’m sure he and his creative partner, Mohammad Hussain, have exciting plans for the future. Despite Lahore’s numerous bakeries and cafes, let’s see what Ammar and Hussain’s venture offers. Keep an eye out for its opening and indulge in those heavenly brownies in the meantime.
