On special invitation from Prof. Ayesha Jalal and as part of the Harvard Tufts Conference to mark the 75th anniversary of independence and partition titled ‘Empire, Nation, Federation: South Asia’s Freedom in Global Perspective’, Zeb Bangash took to the stage the Alderman Arts Center at Tufts University with ‘Azaadi’ – a concert to raise funds to facilitate flood relief efforts in Pakistan.The performance received not only a standing ovation but also an encore from an august gathering. “Zeb Bangash’s enchanting voice mesmerized the audience of scholars and students in a packed Distler Performance Hall at the Harvard-Tufts Conference on the 75th anniversary of South Asia’s freedom. ‘Stand Up’ Initiative to Counter Street Harassment
L’Oréal Paris and foodpanda Pakistan partn The event was attended by L’Oréal Paris spokesperson “Iqra Aziz” alongside teams of L’Oréal Pakistan and foodpanda. Stand Up Against Street Harassment is an ambitious program launched internationally by L’Oréal Paris and aimed to train 1 million people by the end of 2021 with The Right To Be’s 5D methodology, focusing on self-defense techniques and other important tactics to deal with sexual harassment on the streets. The 5Ds (Direct, Distract, Delegate, Document, Delay) are five simple and effective tools to help people safely intervene when they witness or experience street harassment. To date, more than 180,000 people have been trained with Stand Up.

Atif Teases on New Song Featuring Amy Jackson!
After keeping to himself for a long while now, renowned singer and everyone’s favourite star Atif Aslam has returned with a news that is sure to excite his fans. The Dil Diyan Gallan crooner is “chasing love by the moonrise” with British actor and model Amy Louise Jackson, as per his latest announcement.A poster shared on his Instagram on Sunday reveals the title for his new song, Moonrise, that is set to feature Jackson. The poster sees him opposite Jackson with a moon in the foreground, and Aslam standing atop a mountain hill. “Moonrise, coming soon,” it declares. The music video of the song, written by Raj Ranjodh, will be directed by Adnan Qazi and produced by Tarun Chaudhary and Omer Ahmed. A date for the release is yet to be unveiled.
