HAFIZABAD – A deeply disturbing case has emerged from Punjab’s Hafizabad district, where a woman was gang-raped in front of her husband by three armed men. The incident occurred near Mangat Uncha, where the couple had stopped for a bathroom break.
According to the police report, the suspects overpowered the couple, held them at gunpoint, and sexually assaulted the woman. The perpetrators also forced the couple into intimate acts, recording the ordeal on video.
Footage Leaked on Social Media
The couple reportedly remained silent for weeks due to fear and social pressure. However, when the graphic video was leaked online, the husband, Ali Raza, filed a complaint with local police.
Police Launch Raids to Arrest Suspects
A case has been registered, and Hafizabad Police have launched multiple raids to locate and arrest the suspects. According to the District Police Officer (DPO), eight individuals are under investigation, and several teams are actively pursuing leads.
Provincial Authorities Take Immediate Notice
The Chief Minister of Punjab and the Inspector General of Police have taken immediate notice and ordered urgent action. Investigative teams are working to ensure swift justice.
