Imran Khan is facing jail time while his family is struggling to get Visa. Jemima khan took matters to social media and revealed that his sons are waiting for the visa since January. And request Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow Imran Khan son to visit Pakistan. Especially since the former Prime Minister Imran Khan is facing health complications.
Jemima Khan Reveals 60-Day Visa Delay
Jemima Khan took to social media to share her frustration. She explained that her sons applied for their Pakistani visas in January 2026. According to the Pakistan consulate, online visa processing normally takes seven to ten working days. However, it has now been 60 days. There is still no response. This is not the first time they have applied. Jemima noted that this was “again…” suggesting previous applications have also faced issues. The delay comes despite public assurances from government officials. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had promised that the sons could safely travel to Pakistan. The Prime Minister’s spokesperson for foreign media, Mosharraf Zaidi, had also made a similar commitment.

No Communication for Years
The situation is worse than just a visa delay. Jemima revealed that her sons are not allowed to speak to their father on the phone . They cannot send him letters either.
The last time Sulaiman and Kasim saw their father was in 2022 . That was the year Imran Khan was shot in an assassination attempt at a political rally in Wazirabad. For young men to be separated from their father for this long, especially after such a traumatic event, is deeply painful for the family.
A Direct Appeal to the Prime Minister
Jemima addressed her appeal directly to PM Shehbaz Sharif. She tagged him in her social media post, writing: “This is an appeal directly to Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap” . The urgency of her appeal is heightened by concerns over Imran Khan’s health. “By all accounts, his health is in decline,” she wrote . She wants the boys to see their father before it is too late.
