‘Strings’- was broken before we even call it quits- Bilal Maqsood reminiscing the end of an era!

Strings- a legendary Pakistani music band

It has made a significant impact on the music industry.

The band was formed in 1988 by Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia.

Over the years, they have become one of the most influential and beloved bands in Pakistan.

Strings is known for their unique blend of pop, rock, and sufi music.

Their soulful melodies, meaningful lyrics, and catchy tunes have captivated audiences across generations.

They have released numerous chart-topping albums, including “Duur,” “Dhaani,” and “Koi Aanay Wala Hai.”

What sets Strings apart is their ability to evolve with the changing times while staying true to their musical roots.

They have experimented with different genres and collaborations.

Moreover creating a diverse discography that appeals to a wide range of listeners.

Apart from their musical accomplishments!

They have used their platform to raise awareness about social issues and contribute to charitable causes.

Throughout their career, Strings has received numerous awards and accolades.

Including multiple Lux Style Awards and MTV Asia Awards.

Unfortunately, in 2021, Bilal from Strings Band revealed that Faisal took only 3 seconds to break the 33-year-old band.

This news came as a shock to their fans, who have been loyal supporters of the band for decades.

While the news may be disheartening, it’s important to remember the incredible music and memories that Strings has given us over the years.

Their songs will continue to resonate with fans and inspire future generations of musicians.

Let’s cherish the legacy of Strings and continue to celebrate their music.

Even as we embark on a new chapter in the Pakistani music scene.
