The Day the Nightmare Began
On June 2, 2025, life changed forever for Farzana Yousaf. It was a regular afternoon. Sana was at home with her aunt. Farzana was in the TV lounge. Then, a man walked in. He wore a black shirt and blue trousers . He was not there to rob them. Not only this but he was there to kill. The man fired two bullets into Sana’s chest. He then fled with her mobile phone . The attack happened in broad daylight. It happened right in front of her mother and aunt .
A Mother’s Testimony: Unshaken in Court
In the months following the murder, the case went to trial. Farzana Yousaf did not hide. She walked into the courtroom to face the accused. Her testimony was clear and powerful. She described the day in vivid detail. More so she told the court that the killer did not hide his face . She watched him. She remembered him. On June 13, 2025, she went to Adiala Jail. She participated in an identification parade. Without hesitation, she identified Umar Hayat as the shooter .
