Tragic Sea View Incident Shocks Karachi
A heartbreaking event happened near Do Darya at Sea View on Thursday evening. A man, believed to be a drug addict, jumped into the sea with two children. The children—a boy and a girl—were around five and six years old.
Eyewitnesses say the man first threw one child into the water. Then he jumped in with the other child. Bystanders rushed to help. They threw poles and called out to boats nearby. Sadly, all three disappeared under the water.
Darkness Halts Rescue at Sea View
Edhi rescue teams arrived quickly. They searched the deep waters but found no one. The search was stopped due to darkness. Rescue efforts will continue Friday morning.
Police officer ASI Raza Butt said they received a report from a caller named Rana Safdar. He saw the bodies floating.
