In the recent interview, the Moroccan-Canadian actress explained how the natural catastrophe affected her, and shared an incredible experience of survival.
Caught in Chaos
The famous dancer and model who impressed everyone with her wide movements and enchanting presence on the set, talked about the moment when she understood that the situation was critical. As for the wildfires, which got out of hand and burned through large parts of California, she was in LA for work. The lady said she saw dark smog and the orange midnight which were reclaiming the skies-a clear indication of the wariness of nature.
“It was terrifying,” Nora said. ‘When I was driving, I could see flames at a distance, the air was filled with smoke. It felt apocalyptic.”
Evacuation and Survival
Nora said that she had to leave her hotel as wildfires approached populated regions. Like all the rest of the evacuees, she had to spend hours on the road jammed in cars and surrounded by desperate people trying to escape the danger zone.
‘We didn’t know where to go’, said she. The only reason people gave this doctor could come up with was that “the most chilling aspect of the unknown was the worst”. It was the worst and everyone was just focused on the bare necessities of life, and so sad to see people running, often with whatever they could carry from houses they expected may not be accessible to return to.
Still, Nora shared her gratitude to all the representatives of the firefighters and first aid services who did their best to save the burning houses and people. I never thought they could be that brave. This made me understand how much we miss from the primary things in our life,” she further stated.
Emotional Aftermath
That experience proved to have a strong imprint on the career of the later actress. Nora Fatehi Reveals agreed that she was unable to cope mentally with what happened in the days that followed. Nora also stated she supported the life and environmental issues after the ordeal. She is going to embark on educating her followers on matters concerning climate change and its catastrophic effects.
Climate change is real and is known to be causing increased loss of lives. This is what I saw due to the degenerating health status of our globe Earth. We should do something before it gets worse,” she underscored.
