There is no denying the fact that Eid is the most festive time of the year which Muslims across the globe look forward to! Everyone takes on their vogue statement with such dedication after 30 months of fasting and for the right reason. Pakistan serves as a hub of possibilities. There are so many ways in which you will be able to bring on your sheer style. Pakistan’s leading brands have introduced their unstitched line along with their pret wear for the Eid festival and ready-to-wear is always an easy option to take on, especially for those who don’t have much time to shop around!
Since it’s after ages that the wind has arrived in spring rather than extreme summers, the fashion trend to follow for Eid is bound to be angelic. Soft and pale colors are definitely going to be our choice for day wear, whereas, for nighttime, sharp and neon colors are what will be taking the lead.
That being said, it’s time we decide what cuts are we going to opt for this Eid! If you’re planning to carry out Eid festivities at home carrying out all sorts of chores, I would suggest diving into the lawn season and opting for comfortable lawn dresses with an add-on of those laces, appliques, and embroideries. Chiffons have always been our go-to formal choice for festivities, and wouldn’t it be nice to have minimal embroidered shirts to go with a pair of flared bottoms to complete our looks?
On the contrary, girls of all ages would definitely prefer kurtis overall apparel. The exotic Kurta styles with any sort of pairing bottoms are a fashion statement that never seizes to impress. Ever since traditional wear has come back in fashion, no occasion is devoid of our ethnic wear, but of course with a tinge of glamour added to it every now and then. Exquisite shalwar kameez, exotic ghararas, angrakhas, peplums, with shirts length ranging from short to long are all in this season to make our Eid vibrant.
The style to go with our shirts this season is asymmetric! The freedom to style our shirts in any manner makes it easy to play with the style of the sleeves and the volume of our shirts. Lose attires to go with or without belts, according to preference, especially to style the insignia of all cloth, the silk tunics! And I have to say…God are we glad to have those long, loose-fitted shirts with flared trousers back on the ramp for Eid. Since the printed 3 pieces have come back into fashion after a long time, fashion designers no longer have to spend time and effort on matching trousers or dupattas with shirts. This matching separates trend has simplified the fashion game with the ‘less is more’ concept.
To summarize, this year’s Eid dress trends in Pakistan are all about restoring old designs while adding new twists. This Eid, there is something for everyone, from bright colours and flowery designs to fusion pieces and sustainable fashion. Whether you go all-out with a traditional dress or choose a more modern style, the idea is to wear whatever makes you feel confident and elegant on this festive occasion. From oversized earrings to chunky bangles, jewelry is a great way to add a touch of glamour and elegance to an outfit, and you’re good to go for a traditional Eid attire you feel comfortable in.
