There’s no denying the fact that Pakistani cinemas are certainly pushing the envelope when it comes to giving us some major movie vibes. There are so many incredible releases lined up which will make your cinematic experience completely stand out in every possible way. Let us now represent some of the top movies coming out this Eid-Ul-Fitr:
Money Back Guarantee
As if the cast wasn’t so major already, the movie’s teasers are keeping us all psyched! Comedy meets action meets superstars. Written and directed by comedian Faisal Qureshi, the film is a heist caper that seems to parody not just the popular “Money Heist”, but also the genre of heist movies itself. Now isn’t that something?
Dor
This seems to be a revenge film reminiscent of both the 70s low-budget Hollywood flicks as well as the 90s Bollywood masala films. It’s about a husband rescuing his wife from a bunch of goons. And this film definitely going to be catering to a certain demographic who feel they are all set to take in some full head-on action.
Ghosted
The writers of Deadpool, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, have come up with Ghosted, which stars the power duo of Chris Evans and Ana de Armas. We’re used to seeing Evans as a hard-hitting lead in action movie roles. But this time he plays Cole Riggan, the boyfriend of a spy named Sadie (Armas). The roles are reversed and we are all up for it!
Peter Pan & Wendy
Disney is finally doing something with their Peter Pan franchise as a new movie is set to release on Disney+ . Alexander Molony plays Peter Pan… a boy who refuses to grow up. Ever Gabo Anderson plays Wendy, and Yara Shahidi plays Tinker Bell. It’ll be interesting to see how this remake of the old story differs from the original.
Huey Tum Ajnabi
Written and directed by Kamran Shahid, the movie is featuring stars Mikaal Zulfiqar and Sadia Khan, alongside veteran artists like Sohail Ahmed, Mehmood Aslam, Shafqat Cheema, Samina Pirzada, Ayesha Umer, Shamoon Abbasi, Alyy Khan and filmstar Shahid. Seems to be an intense love story and the mega-scale production and cinematic grandeur is all set to be unveiled at Eid.
Daadal
So here’s something entirely new and very different from your usual genres. Street gangsters accidentally land themselves in a confrontation with the godfather of the Lyari mafia – a town in Karachi, Pakistan, known for its history of lawlessness and violence. Sonya Hussyn is back with her impeccable acting skills and she seems in her complete element in this entirely new and exciting avatar for her.
