Pakistan’s 12-year-old ‘ Mountain Princess’ to summit Broad Peak
12-year-old Pakistani mountaineer Selena Khawaja has set out on a mission to scale Broad Peak, the twelfth-highest mountain in the world. The young girl has reached Skardu to attempt the summit, accompanied by her father. If successful, she will become the youngest person in the world to scale an 8,000-plus metre peak. Located in the Karakoram range on the border of Pakistan and China, the mountain is the twelfth-highest mountain in the world at 8,047 metres (26,401 ft) above sea level.Hailing from Abbottabad, Selena Khawaja, has climbed a number of mountains of varying heights. The peaks she has climbed include Quz Sar 5,765m, Mingling Sar 6,050m, Wilyo Sar 6,150m, and Spantik Peak 7,027m in District Shigar

Which is why the question arises whether Asma will be able to bring her mother-in-law’s past to the surface and stand up against her and expose Rumaan’s family to the world. ‘Dour’ has been directed by Mazhar Moin, penned down by Saji Gul, and produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. The rest of the ensemble cast includes Sania Saeed, Iffat Omar, Saleem Mairaj, Fazila Qazi, Nayyer Ejaz, Adila Khan, Haris Waheed and many more.
Big Red Machine featuring Taylor Swift, ‘Renegade’
Big Red Machine is the project of Aaron Dessner — the guitarist in the National who was a producer on Taylor Swift’s “Folklore,” “Evermore” and her remake of “Fearless” — and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), who wrote and sang “Exile,” a high-angst duet with Swift on “Folklore.” Swift sings two songs on the Big Red Machine album due Aug. 27, and regardless of the billing, she dominates “Renegade” with her melodic sense and personality: terse, symmetrical phrases carrying a coolheaded assessment of a failing partner, as she fends off attempts to “let all your damage damage me/and carry your baggage up my street.”
