Probably the ugliest of breakups to have taken place this year, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s split began circulating on September 1, when Jonas filed for divorce. In his filing, Jonas stated that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” By September 6, the pair released a joint statement that said they “mutually decided to amicably end [their] marriage,” but as more and more information came out, that statement might not have been entirely true.
