Pregnant Women and Babies in Danger
A hospital spokesperson said 50,000 pregnant and nursing women are at serious risk. There’s little food or medicine. Miscarriages and early births have soared. Gaza’s baby units are overflowing.
Doctor’s Plea: “Send Blood Now”
Dr. Mohammed Abu Salmiya, head of al-Shifa Hospital, made a desperate plea for blood donations. He said, “Wounded patients are dying because we have no blood.” Many donors are too weak from hunger to give.
