WhatsApp Web Adds Voice and Video Calls
WhatsApp Web voice and video calls are finally here for UAE users. Until now, WhatsApp Web only supported text messages and media sharing. Now, Meta is letting users make calls directly from a browser, without needing a phone or the desktop app.
What’s New in WhatsApp Web Calls
WhatsApp Web now has call buttons for voice and video in individual chats. This feature is currently in beta and supports one-to-one calls.
Calls remain fully encrypted, keeping conversations private. Users can also share screens, which is helpful for work, study, or presentations. Linux users will especially benefit, as there’s no official desktop app for them yet.
WhatsApp Web Enhancements Ahead
Meta is also adding AI tools to WhatsApp. Users will soon get message-based AI help and a “thinking mode” for smarter responses. These features are still in development but show that WhatsApp Web is expanding beyond simple messaging.
A Game-Changer for UAE Users
WhatsApp Web voice and video calls make staying connected easier than ever. UAE users can soon enjoy browser-based calling with full privacy and extra features like screen sharing.
