T
witter has made a big change with its rebrand! X.com now leads to Twitter.com, the headquarters has a flashy X, and the app is called “X” in app stores. It’s all part of Twitter’s ongoing transformation into an app that can do it all!
The rebranding of Twitter as “X” by Elon Musk kicked off in late July 2023. The mobile apps for iPhone and Android now feature the new “X” logo, in addition to the earlier changes made to the website and Twitter accounts.
Some of the prominent features of newly launched ‘X’ are the ease of job hunting. You no longer need to build a linkedin profile to find recruiters with its new Applicant tracking system.
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a software used by companies to manage and streamline their recruitment process. It helps with job posting, resume screening, applicant communication, and overall hiring management. It makes the hiring process more efficient and organized for employers.
Seems like X (Twitter) has done something similar! The new @Hiring account announced the official rollout of the X Hiring feature in beta. Verified organizations on X can now apply to be part of the beta. Exciting opportunity!

Indeed, while it may not have the same breadth as LinkedIn, X’s Hiring feature provides organizations with an alternative way to promote job openings without resorting to excessive posting. It’s another step towards X’s goal of becoming the all-in-one app, as envisioned by CEO Elon Musk.
