The latest and first ever met-gala of India has been the talk of the town, the world is evolving and India is emerging as a key-player in all industries. Be it arts or entertainment, The Ambani’s are bridging the gaps between Hollywood and Bollywood by inviting Hollywood celebrities and Politicians on their weddings and now they have hosted a mega event which envisioned their vison of taking India to the new heights, and for that they have opened a cultural center.

The NMACC is envisioned as a platform to spotlight Indian arts and culture at its best, both for the audience and the artists
It is located within the Jio World Centre in the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai, popularly known as the city of dreams.
NMACC is helping Indians reclaim their narrative and exercise greater control over art which is indigenous to them.
A 2,000-seat theater with 16,000 square feet of exhibition space; a chandelier embellished with 8,400 Swarovski crystals; and a Met Gala-like opening event attended by the who’s-who of the Indian film industry and Hollywood—the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) is emerging as the go-to international destination for Indian art and culture.
With a launch event that upstaged the Dior fall show at the Gateway of India from the previous night, the NMACC opening gala was a star-studded affair. Model Gigi Hadid, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and numerous other Bollywood and India Inc bigwigs were in attendance. American actress Zendaya, known for her role in the HBO series Euphoria, and English actor Tom Holland of Spiderman fame, also walked the red carpet on the second day.
The celebrated names of the film industry garnered the attention of their fans, followers, and fashion enthusiasts, with their stunning appearances at the event. The photos and videos of the event were a treat to the fans. While the first day saw the celebs turning up in their stylish avatars, the second day saw some electrifying performances from the likes of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Priyanka Chopra.
Bollywood stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan and his family, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan were among the many celebs who marked their presence. Nita Mukesh Ambani
I’m a passionate Indian,” Nita Mukesh Ambani is fond of saying. She has channeled that passion into an ever-expanding array of initiatives, activities and institutions that are as humanitarian as they are patriotic. Ambani, among other things, is the first Indian to be appointed an honorary trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, and she has sponsored exhibitions there and at the Art Institute of Chicago. She developed India’s professional soccer league and is the first Indian woman to be elected to the International Olympic Committee. Under Ambani’s leadership the foundation has been engaged in everything from rescuing Indian elephants to cultivating world class athletes to fighting the coronavirus pandemic. This month it will unveil what is billed as India’s top cultural and performing arts facility, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, in the Bandra Kurla Complex district of Mumbai.
“These have been such joys in my life,” Ambani told me when I went to see her in Mumbai, the city where she grew up and still lives. Her fervor has made tangible impacts on 21st-century India, a country that is poised to pass China as the most populous on Earth. (The population is nearing 1.5 billion, with about 21 million living in and around Mumbai, India’s biggest city and financial capital.) Ambani’s work with the Reliance Foundation is entering a new phase, matching India’s growth and presence on the world stage with efforts that promise to have a global ripple effect.
The Ambanis are on their way to change the perception of India for the whole world.
