Because it’s a Family Time!!!

SAIM ALI

Anchor/Model/Actor

This time, we took a special review of much known fashion celebrity Saim Ali, to know what he shared the prized memories that splurge with his family…

  1. How did your parents meet?

My father is a landlord in Sindh and he met my mom on his lands during her visit to meet her brother on his lands and they fell in love so yes it was kind of sweet love marriage.

  1. Tell us about your childhood home?

My childhood home I can never ever forget as it was the most beautiful home with a huge back yard and front long garden, long car park on a side and my granny used to love her garden, flowers and vegetables in the backyard. We used to have our adorable Russian dog named Jimmy, died very young and I still miss him so much.

  1. Tell us about your views, what you will have to do something unique & exclusive on your wedding day?

To be very honest I just want a very simple Islamic way of wedding in the mosque. Nikkah ceremony will be followed by the dinner.

  1. What were your favorite school subjects?

All subjects, but not Maths as I used to hate Maths and Physics!

  1. What did you do with your first paycheck?

I did a small theatre play and I got a small amount of cheque, my feelings were out of this world and I gave all of it to my mom and I think she still has it somewhere as a memory.

  1. Suggest any 4 tips how to take all the family relations in a proper manner?

Your family is your greatest strength so always stay connected and be always one with them so, your family is always there in your thick and thin. Make sure you never take them for granted, be very polite with your elders, never disrespect them, always listen to your mother specially and never say No to your mom. Your mother should be your centre of the universe even if you get married but never let her feel that anyone could ever take her place.

  1. How do you celebrate holidays with your family?

I remember going to Karachi from Lahore in our summer vacations in our school days. Those were the best vacations ever. Once I started earning I took my mom on a holiday to Dubai for a week and those were the most amazing days with her and recently I was in London with my brother and cousins and we made sure we are going to make the most fun of it and we had a blast. London is our second home anyway because most of our family members lives there.

  1. Tell us about some of the places where you’ve been happiest to vist?

Oh too many places where ever I go I make sure I am the happiest there specially Paris, London, NewYork, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Germany & Bosnia are the places I visited the most.

  1. Describe a typical family dinner. Did you all eat together as a family? Who do the cooking? What are your favorite dishes?

My mother makes the best Haleem and Aloo Qeema ever and whenever I come home we all do a sit down family dinner and I love that like the good old times.

  1. How is the world today different from what it was like when you were a child?

A lot different. The whole graph is different now, life has become so restless busy hustle bustle more of a cosmopolitan life but before it was much calm with peace of mind and things looked pretty and I extremely miss the good old times.

“To be very honest I just want a very simple Islamic way of wedding in the mosque…”

“Your family is your greatest strength so always stay connected and be always one with them so, your family is always there in your thick and thin, so make sure you never take them for granted…”38-39
