Petrol and Diesel Prices Continue to Climb
Petrol prices have increased by a total of Rs33.28 per litre during the past two weeks. Diesel prices have jumped by Rs46.16 per litre during the same period.
The continuous rise in fuel costs is likely to affect transport fares and daily goods. Many businesses may increase prices to cover higher transportation expenses.
Experts believe inflation could worsen if fuel prices continue to rise in the coming weeks.
Public Criticism Intensifies After Fuel Hike
Many citizens reacted strongly after the government announced the latest increase. Social media users criticized the decision and expressed concern over rising living costs.
Transporters and business owners also warned that expensive diesel would increase operational costs. They fear another wave of price hikes in markets across the country.
People are demanding relief as fuel costs continue to rise rapidly.
The decision as the govt hikes petrol by Rs14.92 per litre and diesel by Rs15 has created fresh economic concerns in Pakistan. With fuel prices now above Rs414 per litre, citizens fear more inflation and higher daily expenses in the coming days.
