What does it mean to make your style statement and own your personal choices? Rafya Minhas Khan didn’t know she’ll become such a poignant digital personality when she started off but when she did- it became a completely natural process for her. She was able to create a fascinating fashion journal and is joined by thousands on her epic vogue journey. SD: How did you become a digital creator?
Rafya: I never really planned on becoming one. It all started off with my making my account public, after which brands started approaching me. And there was no looking back since then.
SD: What do you aim to represent through your platform?
Rafya: I just wish to highlight how being modest and stylish at the same time isn’t that hard. You can definitely manage both in a successful manner.
SD: What remains the most satisfying aspect of your work?
Rafya: I get to do what I’m passionate about which is styling.
SD: How did you create a balance between your personal life and the online persona?
Rafya: It is a conscious decision that I have made. I only work for 2-3 hours every day. It is extremely important that I spend plenty of time with my family.
SD: When it comes to trolling, how do you combat the negativity online?
Rafya: I have always believed that no response is the best response you can give.
SD: What is your ultimate fashion mantra? Any specific style you embrace?
Rafya: For me being comfortable is the key. A good pair of pants with blazer-my personal staple. It brings on the fashion statement in effortless ways.
SD: Would you ever consider venturing into movies or dramas anytime soon?
Rafya: That’s never going to happen.
SD: Your words of advice to those who wish to attain digital success?
Rafya: Consistency is key. Bring something new to the table, you will get noticed eventually.
SD: How are you venturing into 2023?
Rafya: Been planning to launch something of my own this year. The hope is it turns out to be super successful..
